Septic tank Seepage pit Leach line in gravel 4 FT 8 FT

Drawn for illustration, not to scale. Every yard sits a little different.

The system

Under your yard, on purpose.

A septic system is a quiet machine buried in your yard. Ours is the family that has been putting them in, and keeping them working, since 1948.

  • Septic tank

Traditional tanks and advanced treatment units. We install, service, and repair them, including systems like Priana and Piranha units.

  • Seepage pit

The deep well your system drains into. We know these pits, and we will tell you straight when yours is fine for years to come.

  • Leach line

The gravel bed that finishes the job. When a line fails, we repair it, line it, or replace it, trenchless when we can.

Word of mouth

Seventy-eight years of call-backs.

Real words from real customers, printed on their own website.

“We first spoke with Gopher when we were considering buying a house that they serviced. At the time, they spent 45 minutes on the phone with us detailing some of the basics of septic systems and answering questions. I felt they really wanted to help and impart their knowledge vs. just wanting to get us off the phone, which you might expect. Now that we purchased a (different) home, we have a service contract with Gopher for our Piranha system, and we are now a very happy customer.”

James M.Pasadena, CA, from gopherco.com

“If you have a septic tank and you want wonderful service to deal with your stinky problems, these are the guy. They are so helpful and quick to respond to any problems you have. I had a Priana installed in my septic tanks a couple of years ago and it has been a great solution to my overflow issue.”

HomeownerAltadena, CA, from gopherco.com

“Mike found that one of our seepage pits was not connected as part of the active septic system. In his professional judgement, we should be okay for years to come with the current system. This alone proved to me that he is not financially motivated in trying to take advantage of a situation.”
